Looking For Something To Do On Memorial Day Weekend?

Leave
from Hoopers Island at 10:00am, and head for the Smith Island
Art Festival, aboard one of the premier charter boats of the
Chesapeake Bay! Festivities on Smith Island begin at 11:00am and
go until 3:30pm. See exhibits that feature arts and crafts from
some of the best artists on Smith Island, as well as the rest of
the Eastern Shore! Artwork that will be featured in this festival include mixed-media sculptures from Aram Polster, paintings from Smith Island artist Dennis Clary, handmade quilts from Kathy Donaway, model boats from Ed Thieler, and sea glass jewelry from Carrie Samis and Karen Maher! There will also be many other participants with a wide variety of talents! There will also be plenty of food at the festival.

| In addition to so many fine artists, Robert Whitehill, the author of the Chesapeake Bay thriller "Deadrise" and other novels, will be in attendance. |
